A day when most of loving couples share their happiness in various ways, by offering flowers, chocolates, teddy bears etc.
All these acts of love are really adorable but let's have a look deep inside the tradition of Valentine's Day.
Valentine's Day, also called Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is celebrated annually on February 14. Originating as a Western Christian Feast Day honoring one or two early saints named Valentinus, Valentine's Day is recognized as a significant cultural, religious, and commercial celebration of romance and romantic love in many regions around the world, although it is not a public holiday in any country.
The day first became associated with romantic love within the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the 14th century, when the tradition of courtly love flourished. In 18th-century England, it evolved into an occasion in which lovers expressed their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards (known as "valentines"). In Europe, Saint Valentine's Keys are given to lovers "as a romantic symbol and an invitation to unlock the giver’s heart", as well as to children, in order to ward off epilepsy (called Saint Valentine's Malady). Valentine's Day symbols that are used today include the heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid Since the 19th century, handwritten valentines have given way to mass-produced greeting cards.
Valentine of Rome was a priest in Rome who was martyred in 269 and was added to the calendar of saints by Pope Galesius in 496 and was buried on the Via Flaminia.
While the European folk traditions connected with Saint Valentine and St. Valentine's Day have become marginalized by the modern Anglo-American customs connecting the day with romantic love, there are some remaining associations connecting the saint with the advent of spring.
While the custom of sending cards, flowers, chocolates and other gifts originated in the UK, Valentine's Day still remains connected with various regional customs in England. In Norfolk, a character called 'Jack' Valentine knocks on the rear door of houses leaving sweets and presents for children. Although he was leaving treats, many children were scared of this mystical person.
The earliest description of February 14 as an annual celebration of love appears in the Charter of the Court of Love. The charter, allegedly issued by Charles VI of France at Mantes-la-Jolie in 1400, describes lavish festivities to be attended by several members of the royal court, including a feast, amorous song and poetry competitions, jousting and dancing. Amid these festivities, the attending ladies would hear and rule on disputes from lovers. No other record of the court exists, and none of those named in the charter were present at Mantes except Charles's queen, Isabeau oof Bavaria, who may well have imagined it all while waiting out a plague.
In 1797, a British publisher issued The Young Man's Valentine Writer, which contained scores of suggested sentimental verses for the young lover unable to compose his own. Printers had already begun producing a limited number of cards with verses and sketches, called "mechanical valentines." Paper Valentines became so popular in England in the early 19th century that they were assembled in factories. Fancy Valentines were made with real lace and ribbons, with paper lace introduced in the mid-19th century. In 1835, 60,000 Valentine cards were sent by post in Britain, despite postage being expensive.
Since the 19th century, handwritten notes have given way to mass-produced greeting cards. In the UK, just under half of the population spend money on their Valentines, and around £1.9 billion was spent in 2015 on cards, flowers, chocolates and other gifts. The mid-19th century Valentine's Day trade was a harbinger of further commercialized holidays in the U.S. to follow.
Valentine's Day customs developed in early modern England and spread throughout the English-speaking world in the 19th century. In the later 20th and early 21st centuries, these customs spread to other countries, but their effect has been more limited than those of Halloween, or than aspects of Christmas.

A really unique and irremovable part of it,which surely will be noticed by both the wedding guests and especially from the couple,is the wife's ring!
Important as it is,you have to choose it really mindful and attentive so to pick the one that gives prominence to your quality of person
as well as fulfill the sense of style of yours.
The colours greatly effects the attitude and the senses:
As for white: It expresses the purity of heart and the unlimited loyalty.
Gold: The unbreakable power of Sun, fighting against the lack of harmony and negativity.
Silver: Known for it curative capability, weakening everything affecting the couple negatively.
Pink: Symbol of puelirity, femininity, the innocence and -last but not least- the fondness.
That's the main reason we are suggesting some vendors who can fill all your requirements with their pieces of art,
which we strongly believe that are conscientiously designed.
Speaking of Wedding Rings,it is nearly impossible to skip the American Brand of Jewerly:

It is distinct from glamour and art nude photography in that it is usually more suggestive rather than explicit in its approach to nudity and sexuality, features subjects who do not regularly model, and produces images which are not intended to be seen by a wide audience, but rather to remain under the control of the subject.
It is common for women to have boudoir photographs of themselves made as a gift to a partner, conventionally on the occasion of their engagement, marriage, or before an enforced separation such as a military deployment. Boudoir photography is also sometimes given as a gift with the intention of re-affirming and encouraging the romance and sensuality between partners in a long-term relationship.
Increasingly, boudoir photography is seen as something that a person might do purely for their own enjoyment, for the pleasure and affirmation of seeing themselves as attractive, daring, sensual, and sexually-desirable.
This is what Wikipedia say about Boudoir photography.
What I say is that every woman deserves a boudoir photography session, not only as a gift to her partner but as a gift to herself too...
]]>Many women believe that finding the perfect pair of wedding shoes is just as difficult as finding the perfect dress, but it does not need to be. Look for an elegant shoe style that matches the look of your dress and your own personal tastes. Also stick with shoes that feel comfortable on your feet to avoid unnecessary pain on your big day.
What you wear on your feet on your wedding day really matters! You'll be wearing them for quite a while so Wedding shoes with a high heel are popular with brides the world over. They add elegance and glamour to your outfit, elongating your legs and adding height which is useful if you are marrying a tall man. It is often the brides that don’t usually wear high heels who want to do something special on their wedding day and try out high heel wedding shoes, but this can take some practise and preparation.
These tips will help you to wear your bridal high heels with style:
Limit your heel height
If you aren’t used to wearing high heels, jumping straight into a pair of six inch stilettos is going to have you limping by the end of the ceremony. Be realistic about what you can wear, and remember they will need to be comfortable enough to wear for the whole day.
Take your shoes along to a fitting
Taking the actual shoes you will wear for the wedding is the best way to be sure the length of your wedding dress with work with the bridal high heels you have chosen.
Think what you’ll be walking on
If you are having an outdoor wedding you’re likely to get yourself stuck in the lawn if your wear razor sharp stilettos. Equally, you might create heel marks in a wooden dance floor. Look for wider heels or wedges for a larger surface area as well as added comfort.
Train your feet and legs
Wearing high heels requires a different way of walking and different muscles from wearing flat shoes. When you buy your high heel wedding shoes, try to get another similar pair in the same style that you can wear to the office or on a few nights out. This will help to train your feet and legs to cope with high heels.
Check out your fiance’s height
It could be seen as traditionalist or even sexist, but most brides don’t want to tower over their new husband in their wedding photos. It’s surprising how much height those heels can add, so if there isn’t much difference between you and your fiance, make sure your bridal heels aren’t going to make you taller than him.
Let’s dance
Dancing in high heels can feel very different to dancing in flat shoes or bare feet, so if you plan on performing a show stopping first dance with your new husband, make sure you practise it wearing your high heel wedding shoes. As your shoes will increase your height, your hold will be slightly different during the dance so it’s good for your partner to practise with the high heeled version of you too.
How to wear the platform shoe
There is a current trend for stacked platform bridal shoes, and these can give a lot of extra height with a relative degree of comfort. They look fantastic with contemporary styled dresses, and on brides with medium to large builds, but be careful if you are having a delicate vintage gown, or you are a very slim bride as they can look to clunky and out of place.
Please ...watch your step !!

Spring is nature's way of saying, "Let's party!"
- Robin Williams
It’s spring and love is in the air. With all the weddings, romantic picnics and opportunities for hand-in-hand strolling, spring is really the unofficial season of love. These carefree days make it the best time for love overload.
Spring is the best time to take off on a random romantic adventure.
Spring and romance birds and bees,
touches and kisses beneath the trees.
Spring is made for slowing down, walking hand-in-hand watching the sun set.
Even though it’s warm, spring is made for holing up just the two of you.
It’s the season that reminds us that love — and life — should be a roller coaster.
Yep, it’s Spring and love is truly in the air!
“Always it’s Spring and everyone’s in love and flowers pick themselves.”

]]>It’s worth getting the honeymoon planning sorted out early on. You may be thinking of last minute bargains, but in the run up to the wedding you and your fiancee are going to have a lot of other things to do, and having to sort out the honeymoon at short notice will just add to the stress. You can get good discounts on package holidays and flights by booking early, so there’s no excuses!
Decide how long you can take off work
A lot of your honeymoon planning will depend on how long you can both take off work. Even if you think you can manage three weeks off, the chances are your fiancee will want to take at least a few days off immediately before the wedding, to get properly prepared. You might want to do the same. Discuss it with her, and work out roughly how long a honeymoon you’re aiming for.
Choose the destination Honeymoon inspiration
Then you just need to decide where to go. If you and your fiancee have not decided this already, then work out a few options you might enjoy and talk them through with her.
How soon after the wedding?
Once you’ve got an idea of where you want to go then it’s up to you to deal with practicalities.
When fixing the exact dates, try to give yourself at least one clear day between the wedding and the start of your honeymoon. Couples who depart on honeymoon “the morning after” can end up completely exhausted by the time they arrive at their destination.
Booking
Package deals can be good value if you’re prepared to haggle. If you are booking flights and accommodation separately, remember that most airlines release flights for sale eleven months in advance. This means you can book almost a year before you travel.
For hotels, check the top-rated hotels and resorts in your chosen destination. This is really important – do your homework and make sure the place where you are staying is well reviewed by the people who have stayed there.
Passports, visas and jabs
You should have at least six month’s validity on your passport when you travel – check the dates on your passport and your fiancee’s too.
If you are travelling to a part of the world where you might need jabs, then you will need to visit your doctor at least eight weeks prior to travel.
Travel insurance
Once your holiday is booked, it’s a good idea to get travel insurance as soon as you can. Almost all travel insurance policies include some kind of cancellation cover, and you may as well get the benefit of it straight away.
Holiday money
The easiest option, unless you are going well off the beaten track, is to take credit or debit cards and some cash as a back up..
Remember…
Honeymoon planning is the number one job that you as a groom are expected to sort out. It is also the start of your married life. If you have put the hard work in with travel insurance, visas and various other boring stuff, you may as well go the extra mile to make it really special.
Also, try to arrange a couple of nice surprises for your wife while you are away. For example if you know she likes particular types of flowers, you could ask the hotel to put them in the room fwhen you arrive.
It doesn’t have to be expensive – you could even take a little gift with you in your luggage.
Just show her you’ve made the effort.

And when you are the one walking down the aisle, you 'd better have lots of tissues handy -not just for yourself, but also for the nearest and dearest family and friends.
Wedding photographers may be behind the camera all night long, but that doesn't mean they are immune to the powerful emotions of the day!
Goerge and Eleftheria was not an exception and they gave me the chance to capture true emotional moments, like this one. They are in love and they don't miss a chance to show to each other!
It 's a truth universally acknowledged that mums love wedding photos. As long as you look happy and in love in your photographs, your mum is almost certainly going to be teary-eyed as she flicks through your wedding album. However in the rush of the day, it 's easy to miss those emotional moments that will really mean the world to her.
I always try to be present on those wonderful and unique emotional moments.
On this photo, Eleftheria 's mum couldn 't keep her tears and I am sure she will remember forever that her little girl got married...

Eat and drink.
In all of the excitement of getting ready, you might be tempted to skip eating and drinking. Don’t--you want to stay nourished and hydrated before things really get crazy (although you should limit your drinking to one glass of champagne or a mimosa, and then stick with water). Just do it before you put on your dress.
Go to the bathroom.
While you will have to deal with your wedding dress at some point during a visit to the ladies’ room, take one last trip to the bathroom before putting it on.
Put on the right undergarments.
Before the big day, you need to shop for the perfect undergarments for your dress. You should even bring them with you to a fitting to make sure they work with your dress.
Brush your teeth.
You don’t want to risk toothpaste getting on your gown, but you do want your breath nice and fresh for that first kiss as husband and wife.
Steam it.
You might want to take your dress to be steamed at the bridal salon one last time to make sure it looks absolutely perfect on the big day.
Do a stain check.
Just take a quick look at the dress from all angles. If you see a small spot, don’t panic. There are plenty of quick treatment options you can use--just be sure to call the bridal salon or dry cleaner before you do anything. oks absolutely perfect on the big day.
You’ll no doubt treasure your wedding photos for a lifetime, so you want to make sure you look your absolute best in them. Even with the perfect hair, makeup and, of course, dress, there might be a few crucial things you forget to do when posing on your big day. These are seven tips you want to make sure you get right for perfect pictures.
1. Freshen up your makeup. You’ve made it through the ceremony and kissed your groom (probably more than once). When you’re done with the receiving line and moving fast to get in important shots before the cocktail hour begins, it can be easy to forget to freshen up your makeup–especially reapplying lip gloss.
2. Choose the right angle. You don’t want to take the shot standing straight towards the camera. Instead, stand at a slight angle and tilt your chin down slightly.
3. Focus on your best side. Everyone has one side that photographs better than others. Look in the mirror, take selfies and ask a few honest friends what they think your best side is–then let your photographer know that’s the one you want to use for the majority of your shots.
4. Sit pretty. You want your posture to be on point in every photo, but it’s especially important when you’re taking shots while sitting. So be sure to sit up straight, legs crossed at the ankles.
5. Hold your bouquet properly. For a traditional bouquet, hold it right in front, at about waist level with your arms held out a bit from your hips a bit. If your arms are right against your sides, it will make you look bigger. Or you can hold it loosely with one hand loosely with one and let the other hang naturally by your side for a more relaxed look.
6. Smile. Yes, it is possible to forget to smile on the happiest day of your life if you’re super nervous. Remember that a beautiful smile is the best accessory on your wedding day.
7. Relax. Don’t overthink posing–it will translate into your photos. If you just relax and be yourself, they will be more natural and reflect the real you.
Another important reason to look for, is interesting People. After all this is a priority for me, to be inspired myself, so as to give my best to my couples.
Although this is a kind of rule for me, this "Man", is an exception. I proudly represent you my Friend, The Fisherman!
A silent exception because even if he is always there, smooth and peaceful, he never talks too much yet he is a great company to me! You may think I go loco... Well not, thankfully, yet.
I believe that everybody needs a moment of peacefulness and relaxation. And this place offers me both. I use to go there and meet my friend, fading away from routine...

Here are a few things you shouldn’t DIY for your wedding.
Floral arrangements are much more difficult to create than they appear, and while you’re trying to get it figured out, your flowers are probably in the process of wilting. If you’re lucky, you’ll have a day to get your flowers arranged correctly, but it could be as little as a few hours. Some things you should not DIY for your wedding and this is definitely one of them. Leave the flowers to the florist and save money by choosing local, in-season blooms for your wedding.
If your wedding hairstyle is anything other than something you are used to doing to your own hair, get a stylist. Among the things you should not DIY is your wedding day hairdo. Your wedding look is too important to leave to chance, so unless you’re going with your “usual” hairstyle, let a stylist worry about it.
You might be the most organized bride ever and you might have every single detail of your wedding chosen, but trying to look after all the details while you’re supposed to be preparing to walk down the aisle can cause extra stress and increase the odds of something falling between the cracks. Your wedding planner would probably be the first to tell you that this is one of those things you should not DIY.
Your best friend’s cousin may be great at taking pictures with his digital camera, but you don’t want to trust your wedding photographs to an amateur. A professional will be able to help you plan your photos so that you have all the shots you want and can anticipate the next events so they’re always there to get the best pics.
There are definitely some great DIY ways to save money on your wedding, but before you take on too much, make sure you really want all the little details you’re considering.
]]>"Story in a Story".
The concept is to post little stories inspired from the big love stories that I cover! Little, really great moments, for which I am proud of taking place and photoshoot.
Well, shall we begin?
Story in a Story, Vol. 1.
All grooms are anxious waiting for their bride. Well, more or less! For example -on my wedding- I remember being really nervous with the previous couple, waiting for their ceremony to finish... In advance, I was a little drunk too. My photographer still hates me for this...
Our little story is not an exception. Thanos was anxious, too. I managed to capture the moment when he is calling to find out where his bride was and the reason of the delay!
The truth is that he wasn 't able to see her coming, with her family! She was astonishing and gorgeous in her wonderfull wedding dress, just a few seconds before her father deliver her to him!

Glowing, healthy skin, great hair and nails, beautiful eyes and sparkling teeth will be the foundation for building your wedding day beauty, so getting started on making those attributes look their best only makes sense. You don’t need to blow your whole paycheck on beauty supplies to be the prettiest bride, but a few essentials will come in very handy.
Your groom won’t be able to stop staring into your eyes on your wedding day, so you want them to look their best. A good basic beauty essential that is worth spending an extra few bucks on is eye cream that will reduce puffiness, dark circles and can even help get rid of any fine lines that have started to develop in the delicate skin surrounding your eyes.Good eye creams are well worth the cost, because improving your eyes is one of the easiest ways to look younger and be the prettiest bride ever.
Your facial skin gets damaged easily and can look tired and dull. A facial, especially one that is medical-grade, can brighten your skin and remove the old, damaged layers to reveal beautiful, soft, glowing skin. A good facial can take years off your appearance, leaving you softer and smoother than you ever thought possible. Your new husband won’t be able to stop caressing your soft, luminous cheek.
Your teeth can become stained without you even realizing it, but it’ll be obvious on your wedding day. Start using whitening toothpaste now, and invest in a whitening kit to use a few weeks before the wedding. When you pictured yourself as the prettiest bride, you were probably seeing yourself with a gorgeous smile; whitening your teeth can give your smile a boost for your big day.
If you have time, start taking vitamin D gel caps several months before you walk down the aisle to provide your hair and nails with extra strength. If you’re running short on time, there are great shampoos and nail products that can give your tresses and tip more strength so they can look stunning for your wedding day.

Crossing the green landscape and reaching the small chapel , I realized once again the beauty of nature and of our tradition . The big tree in the village square and the tables around where the party was set up after the christening ,the organizing, editing and hosting of the parents of little George , made this photoshoot, a real life experience !
Thank you very much for making me part of your family in one of the most important days of your life ...

Downtown, rythme of life is speedy, yet in a glance, a "click",
I try to capture all the pation, their stress, their hopes and sometimes their thoughts. People around, going on a destination taking a path.
I use to say...if the path is beautiful, ask where it leads to.
But if the destination is beautiful , never mind about the path.
One way or onother...
KEEP WALKING !
In ancient Roman religion and myth, Janus is the god of beginnings and transitions and thereby of gates, doors, doorways, passages and endings. He is usually depicted as having two faces and called Janus bifrons. In early ages Janus meets with one bearded face and one shaved, which prompted some researchers to attribute this to pairs opposites, such as the sun and moon or old age and youth, good and evil, darkness and light ...

Therefore I had the pleasure to photograph “Dramakaitio” Theater group , which staged the play of Akis Dimou , "If I ‘ll be late ,fall asleep " at Alkmini theater, on 14-15 June 2014 , directed by Anatoli Athanasiadou. Just wonderful!!!
Congratulations guys, keep going!

As far as photograph concerns, generally speaking, seems illimitable. DSLR with 400.000 ISO, 4k VIDEO, 100 focus points and a lot of other goodies.
Does all these help the photographer? Of course.
Does all these make him better ? I doubt that.
Speed, diaphragm, frames, lines, composition, have been sidelined. As I speak for myself, a return to basics rules, I believe that helps me balance between digital progress and the principles of photography. So I grub my favorite Canon AV 1 and load it with Kodak T-Max. Back to basics. And you know what?
I really enjoy it!
Ταχύτητα, διάφραγμα, κάδρο, θέμα, γραμμές, σύνθεση έχουν παραγκωνιστεί. Μιας και μιλάω για τον εαυτό μου, μια επιστροφή στα βασικά πιστεύω, πως με βοηθά να ισορροπήσω ανάμεσα στις αρχές της φωτογραφίας και της εξέλιξης της ψηφιακής τεχνολογίας . Έτσι παίρνω την αγαπημένη μου Canon AV 1 και την φορτώνω με Kodak T- Max. Πίσω, στα βασικά. Και ξέρετε κάτι ;
Πολύ το ευχαριστιέμαι!

In modern times, paint (particularly spray paint) and marker pens have become the most commonly used graffiti materials. In most countries, marking or painting property without the property owner's consent is considered defacement and vandalism, which is a punishable crime.
